— Brief
One issue of a monthly subscriber program.
Kawai sends a monthly email to its subscriber list — a recurring program rather than a one-off blast. Each issue carries the same job: keep the brand top-of-mind, surface what's new in the lineup, and give existing customers a reason to revisit the site.
The May edition had to do all of that and seat a Spring Rebate Event without turning into a sale flyer. So the issue moves through several moments: the rebate hero up top, the digital piano lineup with rebate amounts inline, a featured artist session, and dealer/footer rails — all on the same monthly skeleton.
— Direction
Editorial layout, retail intent.
The system pairs a confident headline lockup ("Play more. Save more.") with a single, oversized product photograph and a clean 2×2 lineup grid below. Red is reserved for the rebate moment — date, subject line accent, dollar-off tags — so it earns attention instead of fighting for it.
Multiple topics per issue is the point, not a bug. The newsletter is structured as modules — hero, product lineup, artist feature, footer — that swap content month-over-month without re-engineering the layout. New issues ship in days because the skeleton already exists.
